Position Overview

We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead outbound and inbound sales efforts, build strategic partnerships, and drive new revenue growth. This is a remote, commission-only W-2 position, ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a performance-based environment and is eager to grow with a scaling organization.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying prospects, managing the full sales cycle, and closing new business aligned with company offerings. High performers will have the opportunity to transition into base + commission compensation and leadership roles as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound leads

  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial contact through contract execution

  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools

  • Conduct discovery calls, presentations, and solution demonstrations

  • Collaborate with leadership to refine sales messaging, pricing, and go-to-market strategies

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to support repeat and referral business

  • Meet or exceed agreed-upon sales performance benchmarks

  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline activity, conversions, and revenue generated

Compensation Structure

  • Commission-Only (W-2 Employee)

  • Competitive commission rates based on closed, collected revenue

  • No commission cap

  • Commissions paid on a recurring or one-time basis, depending on service type

  • Eligibility for future compensation adjustments (base salary, bonuses, or overrides) based on performance and business growth

This position does not include a guaranteed base salary during the initial phase.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or revenue generation (B2B preferred)

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  • Experience using CRM systems and sales tracking tools

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Preferred Experience

  • Experience selling professional services, consulting, or B2B solutions

  • Familiarity with outbound prospecting and relationship-based sales

  • Experience working in startup or growth-stage organizations
