Position Overview
Qualteach is seeking a driven, persuasive, and highly self-motivated Business Development Manager to generate new school and district partnerships. This is a commission-only sales role with high earning potential for strong closers. You will be responsible for identifying leads, managing outreach, building relationships, and securing staffing & service contracts.
This role is ideal for someone experienced in sales, education partnerships, recruitment, B2B outreach, or school service contracts—and someone who thrives in a performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Generation
Identify and prospect K–12 schools, districts, charters, private schools, and education organizations
Conduct high-volume outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and networking
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of decision-makers (HR, principals, superintendents)
Schedule discovery calls and present QualTeach's service offerings
Generate 20–50 new leads per month
Client Relationship Building
Lead initial conversations with prospects
Understand client staffing needs, recruitment challenges, and service requirements
Establish strong rapport with administrators and school leaders
Attend virtual or in-person networking events, conferences, and education fairs
Contract Acquisition
Deliver proposals and present pricing
Negotiate contract details (with company approval)
Close deals and secure signed service agreements
Upsell onboarding, PD, and instructional design packages
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
CRM & Reporting
Enter and track all leads, activities, and opportunities in the company CRM
Provide weekly updates on pipeline, progress, and revenue goals
Maintain accurate records of outreach and client interactions
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based opportunity.
There is no base salary.
Commission Structure
10–20% of first-year contract value
Earn $2,500–$5,000 on a $25,000 school contract
Earn $3,000–$6,000 on a $30,000 school contract
Upsell commissions available (10–20%)
Top Performers Can Earn:
$60,000–$120,000+ annually (based on 2–4 closed contracts per month)
Ideal Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications
Proven sales experience (B2B, education, staffing, or recruitment preferred)
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Comfortable conducting outreach and initiating conversations
Ability to manage your own schedule and pipeline
Highly goal-oriented, disciplined, and driven by results
Professional demeanor and strong customer service approach
Access to computer, phone, and reliable internet
Preferred Qualifications
Experience selling to schools, districts, or educational organizations
Familiarity with education staffing or teacher recruitment
Experience in partnerships, vendor relations, or EdTech sales
Existing relationships within K–12 networks
