Position Overview
Qualteach is seeking licensed educators and experienced instructional professionals to join our growing team of part-time remote tutors. This role is ideal for teachers, retired educators, graduate students in education, or instructional professionals seeking flexible, remote tutoring opportunities while maintaining professional standards and student-centered outcomes.
Tutors provide high-quality, individualized academic support aligned to student needs, learning goals, and curriculum standards across K–12 and/or postsecondary subject areas.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions in a remote environment
Assess student learning needs and tailor instructional strategies accordingly
Reinforce classroom instruction, foundational skills, and academic confidence
Maintain professional documentation of sessions, progress, and attendance
Communicate professionally with students, families, and Qualteach staff
Adhere to all confidentiality, FERPA-aligned, and organizational policies
Maintain consistent availability aligned with assigned students or caseloads
Required Qualifications
Active or expired educator license preferred (state-issued or equivalent)
Bachelor’s degree required (Education or subject-area degree preferred)
Prior experience in volunteer or paid tutoring, classroom teaching, or academic support
Strong instructional delivery and communication skills
Reliable internet access and ability to conduct remote sessions
Authorization to work in the United States (W-2 employment)
Preferred Qualifications
Current classroom teaching experience
Experience with virtual learning platforms and online instructional tools
Background in intervention, remediation, or differentiated instruction
Experience supporting diverse learners or special populations
