Position Overview
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for educator and support staff placements. This role focuses on candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting top-quality candidates to partnering schools. It is ideal for motivated self-starters seeking flexible, remote work with substantial earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
Full-Cycle Recruitment
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for educators and school staff.
Source active and passive candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and targeted outreach.
Post jobs across all qualifying job boards and recruitment platforms.
Candidate Sourcing & Screening
Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and evaluate candidate experience, credentials, and fit.
Conduct structured interviews to assess classroom readiness, professionalism, reliability, and alignment with school needs.
Verify basic documentation: credentials, certifications, resumes, references, and work authorization.
Candidate Management & Communication
Maintain regular, professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring pipeline.
Set clear expectations about job roles, interview procedures, onboarding requirements, and next steps.
Prepare candidates for school interviews and coordinate interview schedules as needed.
ATS & Administrative Tasks
Accurately update candidate records, notes, and pipeline stages in the agency’s Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Track recruitment progress, follow-ups, and placement statuses in real time.
Ensure compliance with agency policies, including privacy and documentation standards.
School Partnership Support
Present qualified candidates to school administrators with clear summaries and recommendations.
Understand the hiring needs of partner schools to provide tailored, high-quality matches.
Maintain positive and professional communication with school partners.
Compensation Structure
Commission Only:
No base salary
Commission paid upon successful placement
Higher tiers of commission earned through performance
Typical placements generate $4,000–$10,000 fees
Qualifications
Required
Experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, customer service, sales, staffing, or education.
Strong communication, interviewing, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume pipeline.
Tech-savvy with experience using ATS platforms, job boards, and digital communication tools.
Highly self-motivated with a drive to earn through performance.
Preferred
Prior experience in K–12 staffing, substitute services, or educator recruitment.
Familiarity with FCRA, FERPA, and general hiring compliance (training provided).
Experience with screening educators or support staff.
